      The Operational Division of the Mayor and CEO of the City of Hanover mostly manages tasks that are central for the work of the City's Chief Executive. Hence it comprises the Mayor's staff, press and public relations work and the Citizens' Office. It also includes special concerns such as the coordination of the city's "Hannover 2030" development concept, "Science City Hannover" and the International Affairs section. This section also includes the Legal Affairs Division, the city’s central Events Management Office, the Auditing Office and the Division for Sports and Swimming Baths.
