      KunstFestSpiele 2020 postponed

      The KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen 2020, planned for May, will not take place until autumn 2020 in view of the global crisis triggered by the coronavirus.

      The planned laser and sound installation Fountain Scan by Robert Henke for the 300th anniversary of the Great Fountain in the Great Garden of Herrenhausen will be shown from 25.09. to 08.10.2020. Around this event, the KunstFestSpiele want to set up as many productions as possible of the 2020 edition.
      The great Gustav Mahler concert, the Eighth Symphony, in the Dome Hall of the HCC will be postponed by one year to May 16, 2021. All those involved, such as the NDR Radiophilharmonie, the Orchestra of the Hanover University of Music, Theatre and Media and eight Hanoverian choirs, have declared their spontaneous willingness to do so.
