Hannover was and is home to many large companies and renowned enterprises of world renown. Some of them have not existed for many years, but their brands and names, known far beyond the capital of Lower Saxony, have remained.

For example, the manufacturer of steam locomotives Hanomag and the elevator construction company Hävemeier & Sander or the stationery factory Geha. We took a look at what has become of their original facilities and production facilities.
